Fidonet is developed by the American Tom Jennings from San Francisco. Mid 1984 Jennings has developed the fidonet software with John Madill from Baltimore by testing the fidonet software with modems. He called his software fido. To understand Jennings, you should read his story about fidonet on the normal website of BIER.028 wich he created on 8 february 1985. Tom Jennings has left fidonet in the years of 1990.
